In our family campsite in the heart of Beaujolais, we know our region perfectly and we will be able to guide you in the choice of your hikes, your walks, your bike excursions, your restaurants and your activities. This emblematic Beaujolais site is an inevitable stopping point when you stop at our family campsite. At the top of Mont Brouilly hill stands the lovely Notre-Dame-des-Raisins Chapel. This monument overlooks the plain of the Saône, the Dombes and the vineyards. Climb the hill of Mont Brouilly by two routes, suitable for all levels, and pass through little-known places in the region.

Surprising and unique walks The Pierres Dorées villages

These villages are known for the particular color of their yellow stone. Over the course of the day, this stone, made of limestone, is tinted with iron oxide and takes on this golden color. Walk through the alleys of these villages classified among the “Most Beautiful Villages of France”: Ternand, Châtillon d'Azergues and Charnay. Do not miss the jewel of the region: Oingt, and the 360 ° panorama obtained at the top of the tower of the Donjon.

The city of Lamartine Mâcon

The architecture of Macôn bears witness to a rich history, with different influences. The “Tracé de la Plume” is a route, lasting about two hours, which will take you through the most beautiful monuments of the city. Among the points of interest, you will discover: the pharmacy of the Hôtel-Dieu, the Maison de Bois and the Pont Saint-Laurent. Mason saw the birth of Lamartine, a famous figure of the revolution of 1848 and of the Second Republic. Founded in 910, this abbey dominated Christianity throughout the Middle Ages!
